Tropical Pineapple-Papaya Smoothie

This raw, vegan smoothie from the book Vegan In Topform by Brendan Brazier provides you with quick energy without stimulants thanks to the active enzymes papain (in papaya) and bromelain (in pineapple). This raw pineapple and papaya smoothie is especially good for you if you are very active or your body is exhausted after a hard workout. The products for this recipe can naturally be found in your Veganz supermarket :)


  • 1 banana peeled
  • 2 date fresh or soaked, dried and pitted
  • 500 ml water cold
  • ½ papaya-en medium
  • ¼ in pineapple in pieces
  • 1 tsp flaxseed ground
  • 1 tsp Organic Veganz hemp protein
  • 1 tsp Organic Veganz coconut oil
