S’mores Krispy Treats

No one really knows who was the first to invent S'mores but who cares, we are just happy, that they exist. The traditional S'mores are made out of marshmellows, Graham Crackers and a few chunks of chocolate. Chris Cooney and Jon Ted have veganised them in their book "The Vegan Zombie. Koche & Überlebe!". Always a big hit on Halloween!

Ingredients

  • 280 g vegan marshmellows
  • 3 tbsp. vegan margarine
  • 2 cups vegan wholemeal cookies crumbled
  • 3 cups puffed rice
  • 2 tbsp. Organic Veganz Agave Syrup
  • 3 tbsp. vegan chocolate chips 40 g

Instructions

  • In a pot, let the margarine melt on a medium flame.

  • Stirr in agave syrup and fold in the majority of marshmellows and crumbled cookies (leave a few for decoration).

  • Stirr well until everything has melted into a paste, then take of the stove.

  • Fold in the puffed rice, then fill the mixture in a baking tin (20 x 20 cm) and make it smooth.

  • Decorate with the rest of the marshmellows and crumbled cookies.
