Fig Jam

This fig jam is the perfect spread for your bread at the breakfast table. They are quickly prepared and therefore make the perfect gift for your friends and family.


  • 550 g figs dried, finely chopped
  • 800 ml fruit tea
  • 2 lemons juice and peel
  • 500 g gelifying sugar 2.1
  • 50 g almond sticks
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon


  • Boil the fruit tea and let it cool down for a bit. When the tea is lukewarm, pour it over the fig cubes and let it soak over night. On the next day, mix the fig pieces with the tea in a mixer into a fine paste. The amount you get will be approx. 1200g.

  • Mix the fruit paste together with the gelifying sugar, lemon peel and lemon juice. Chop the almond pieces and add it together with cinnamon to the mixture.

  • Now cook the fruit sugar mix and let it simmer for about 4 minutes. Instantly fill into screw-cap jars.
