Veganz Meets EDEKA

We’re super excited to announce that we’ve just secured another wholesale partner.
It’s none other than EDEKA!

Veganz, the first vegan full-range supermarket chain, began wholesale in 2014.
As of today, Veganz has been successful in obtaining over 300 distribution points with our own shelves at Kaisers Tegelmann, Globus and METRO.

“Our mission is to make the vegan lifestyle available to everyone. Becoming a part of conventional retail trade is a great way to inspire even more people with our delicious animal-free products. We’re showing people that being vegan doesn’t mean having to sacrifice anything—rather it means enjoyment across the board!” says Jan Bredack, founder and CEO of Veganz.

EDEKA, Germany’s most successful entrepreneur initiative with some 4,000 independent retailers, gives the wishes of their customers first priority. They recognize that there is a growing number of people who want to eliminate animal foods from their diet, without sacrificing great taste.
As part of an exclusive partnership with Veganz, attractive and exclusively imported vegan brands will supplement the EDEKA range. EDEKA merchants can choose their range individually from an assortment of over 200 strong basic Veganz items.

Veganz not only supplies, but also supports and advises on range and quality of vegan products. Products will be available at the end of June 2015.

What do you think about our latest collaboration? What Veganz products do you want to see in EDEKA and in which EDEKA branches would you like to see our vegan products in?

We’re looking forward to your comments! 🙂

Edeka and Veganz are not selling Gardein products anymore. But you can check out Veganz Schnitzel Classic and our other meat-alternatives. 😉
